Lady Gaga's Doll Eyes: Dangerous?

Everyone's seen Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" music video, right? And everyone's seen her huge eyeballs, right? Well, some very resourceful girls discovered how to get that look. Apparently you can buy special contacts, called circle lens, online. They cover the iris and pupil of your eye, making your eyes seem freakishly large.

BUT, circle lens are illegal. Not approved by the FDA, it's against the law to sell them in the US. It's also illegal to buy any type of contact lens without a prescription.

Because the lenses haven't passed any standards, there is a possibility of they're being produced in sterile conditions. Also, if it's too tight, it could cause swelling of the cornea, which could become a corneal ulcer and eventually lead to complete loss of vision. O.O
