It's the last play of the game. Dominic Adiyiah of Ghana kicked the ball in an attempt to make a goal. Luis Suarez of Uruguay budged in and slapped it away with his bare hands. The referee red card-ed Luis, and allowed Ghana a penalty shot. The best player on that team, Asamoah, missed it and the game transitioned into a penalty shootout.
Unfortunately, Ghana lost, and Asamoah broke down into tears. Africa's representative in this year's World Cup was so close, yet so far. The remaining teams are Netherlands,
Germany, and Spain.
I was really hoping that Ghana would win. But since they're eliminated, it's back to my default team. LET'S GO SPAIN! LET'S GO! :)
